Terms
Kolkworks (kolkworks.com), based in the Netherlands. Last updated: 2 September 2026.
1. Who you buy from
Digital products on our own sites are sold by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Polar's terms (https://polar.sh/legal/terms) govern the purchase, billing and taxes. Products sold through a marketplace (Etsy, Udemy, the Chrome Web Store) are governed by that marketplace's terms of purchase. These terms cover your use of the product and our websites.
2. Licence
Unless the product page says otherwise, a purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your own work, including commercial work you do for clients. You may not resell, redistribute or repackage the product itself, and you may not share licence keys. Each product page states its own activation limit, for example three activations per licence key.
3. Prices, updates and availability
Prices are in euros and include VAT where it applies; the merchant of record shows the exact amount before you pay. Each product page states what is included, for example 12 months of updates or lifetime access to the version you bought.
4. Support
Support is by email at support@kolkworks.com, in English or Dutch. First-line support is handled by an AI assistant and is labelled as such; a human reviews escalations. You can ask for a human at any time.
5. No professional advice
Our products help you do your own work. They are not legal, tax, accounting, compliance or examination advice, and the result depends on what you put in. Where a product generates reports, checks or practice questions, verify the outcome before you rely on it. We do not guarantee an exam result, an audit outcome or complete accuracy.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profits or lost data.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. At checkout you consent to immediate delivery and waive that right where the law allows, which the merchant of record handles. On top of the legal minimum we offer a 14-day full refund; see the Refund Policy.
8. Governing law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
