Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Kolkworks websites and products, including the products listed on this site. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Purchases. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh) acting as merchant of record. Polar
collects your name, email address and payment details under its own privacy policy (https://polar.sh/legal/privacy). We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver the product, validate your licence and provide support. Products sold through a marketplace (Etsy, Udemy, the Chrome Web Store) are covered by that marketplace's privacy policy for the purchase itself.
- Support. If you email support@kolkworks.com we keep the correspondence for as long as we need
it to help you.
- Website analytics. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics at all. Each product site states on its own privacy page what it measures.
- Product data. Each product states on its own page what it processes and where. Several of our tools run entirely on your own device or in your browser: those never upload your files to us and we never see their contents.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, we do not send marketing email without your consent, and we do not collect more than the product needs.
Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)
We process the data above to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the products. You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Email support@kolkworks.com and we will sort it out.
Retention
Order data is kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support email is deleted when it is no longer needed.
